Biography:
Coach Tyree is entering his third year as the Girls Varsity Head Coach and Head of Basketball Operations at Altamonte Christian School. He has been coaching girls’ varsity basketball for 10 years; including 6 years as head coach and 4 as an assistant coach. Every season as a head coach in the FHSAA, he accomplished reaching the district championship game, participating in the regional playoffs, and never having a below .500 season. In his first year at ACS, and being apart of the SSAC conference, The lady eagles were successful in making a debut appearance in the SSAC 1A State championship game.
Prior to ACS, he served as the Girls Head Coach and Head of Basketball at Trinity Christian Academy (Deltona) a team that graduated 8 seniors and returned only two players. Through his leadership, TCA had a winning season (Overall 8-8), competed for the district championship, and made the regional playoffs.
From 2017-2020, Coach Tyree was the Girls Head Coach and Head of Basketball at Real Life Christian Academy in Clermont, Florida. He was a key part of the school’s transition into the FHSAA, resulting in the team having three straight winning seasons (overall 60-28), regional playoff appearances, and appearing in consecutive district championships for the first time in school history. As an assistant coach, Coach Tyree has been a part of two district and regional championship teams.
He currently holds a 93-56 record as a head coach.
In addition, he is the creator and founder of the Central Florida United AAU basketball team that has helped players’ development and has had over 50% of his athletes placed in college.
Coach Tyree holds three degrees and received his Master’s Degree from Ashford University. He has one son: Tyree K’shon Crutchfield.

Assistant Coach
Biography:
Coach Gabrielle (Coach G) is entering her third year as the assistant girls varsity basketball coach at Altamonte Christian School. She has been coaching girls’ varsity basketball for 6 years as an assistant for three different high schools and 1 AAU program. As an assistant coach, she has been a vital part on teams that have competed in the SSAC championship, district title games, regional bracket play and won numerous AAU championships.
Prior to ACS, she coached at Trinity Christian Academy for one year. Serving as assistant to Coach Tyree on a roster with 9 out of 10 players being first year players. Her dedication and must-win attitude assisted in TCA having a winning season, competing for the district championship and making the regional playoffs. From 2018-2019, Coach G was also the volunteer assistant coach at Lake Minneola in Clermont, Florida, for two seasons under Coach Brown. In addition, she filled the role of assistant coach and youth player development trainer on the AAU team Central Florida United (CFU) for 4 years.
Coach G holds an associate degree from Valencia College and is currently in progress of earning her bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
Grace Owens.
Assistant Coach
Biography:
Coach Grace is entering her first year as the assistant girls varsity basketball coach at Altamonte Christian School. She is a key part of the girls varsity basketball staff and will be essential in the success of the team moving forward. Her primary responsibility consists of monitoring, motivating and assisting in the ongoing development of player skills set through critiquing on court performance, mentoring and daily scouting breakdown to the head coach.
Prior to being promoted to an assistant coach, she was team manager, responsible for developing and maintaining an effective relationship with the players, coaches and management of the team. Identifying opportunities to improve team discipline, performance, and attitude amongst the girls throughout the entire season. In addition, Coach Grace recorded every game and kept an accurate record of game stats.
Coach Grace is currently in progress of earning her bachelors in biomedical science at UCF.
